Admission information for students

The original campus guidance describes entrance tests for programmes with limited places. It refers to written or oral assessment, depending on the procedure offered, and tests in English, Italian with English translation, or Romanian with English translation.

The test described in the historical material

The material describes 60 multiple-choice questions completed in two hours, with an additional 15 minutes for architecture. Questions cover general knowledge, logical reasoning and subjects relevant to the degree programme.

For medicine, the example consists of 5 general-knowledge questions, 25 logical-reasoning questions, 14 biology questions, 8 chemistry questions and 8 physics and mathematics questions. The scoring described is 1.5 points for a correct answer, minus 0.4 for an incorrect answer and zero for an unanswered question.

The syllabus broadly follows subjects studied in the final year of secondary education. Applicants should obtain the official syllabus and current test format from the university responsible for their programme.

Application and results

The original instructions request an application form sent to [email protected], state that the same degree test cannot be taken at more than one university, and describe results being communicated on the test day. These procedures require confirmation against the current admissions notice.

The historical allocation lists 15 places in medicine and surgery, 35 in dentistry and dental prosthetics, and 50 in healthcare professions. It gives test dates of 16/17 September, 23/24 September and 14/15 October without identifying a current admission year. These are not current application deadlines or guaranteed available places.
